"My look is attainable. Women can look like Audrey Hepburn by flipping out
their hair, buying the large sunglasses, and the little sleeveless
dresses." -Audrey Hepburn
Yes, another Hepburn post, what can I say I love her! It has already been proven that no designer will ever be able to re-design or for that matter re-invent "little black dresses" like Givenchy did on "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Remember the black dress that Audrey wore to "Sing-Sing", stunning! Is Audrey's look really attainable as she claimed?

"My mother taught me to stand straight, sit erect, use discipline with wine and sweets and to smoke only six cigarettes a day", "How to Be Lovely - The Audrey Hepburn Way of Life"
Even in her private life Audrey smoked two or three packs of English Gold Flakes a day. Cigarette smoking may seem glamourous but the truth is as you might have heard smoking is a contributor to lung cancer, it can dehydrate the skin, damage the collagen and accelerate wrinkles. Seeing this images makes me wish cigars didnt have side effects :(
A modern Holly Golightly in London at facehunter.blogspot.com
Shes has the Holly Golightly look perfectly; the little black dress, the up-do, posing elegantly with her long cigarette holder .
This post is dedicated for the audrey fans that commented on smoking on last audrey post!

I couldn't help but to admire this picture at the sartorialist. She looks like she was imitating Holly Golightly's fashion sense the very day she was captured by the camara of the sartorialist. With the up-do, the sunglasses, the black, the poise. THE ELEGANCE she portraits in this picture.. and right in the same city of New York.
