Chandelier Bulb $55.00

As limited as I know about interior design I do know that you should never have a bare light bulb fixture in a room, but would this fall into that category? It is a chandelier and it also a bulb for $55.00

INSPIRATION ROOM

No, I'm not fortunate enough to have my own inspiration room but Brooke whom I met on the AV forum does. She was kind enough to let me use her photos on my blog so thank you Brooke!

"... i believe a bedroom is for sleeping and every girl needs a room where she
go and relax, read her new issue of vogue, and enjoy a cup of tea"
The room is used simply for relaxation & as a reading and study room. Vintage inspired furniture, graphic silk pillows and little things as a classic black typewriter, vintage gold bird cage and a simple topiary, complete the room. The items were gather from flea markets, and a local unique furnishing store... I love these types of rooms so full of inspiration!

IT'S NATURAL...

I appreciate ordinary elements like wood so much that I can't help myself but to pick up small twigs or branches here and there. They have their own distinctive beauty & most of all they don't cost a dime! Bird in the hand artist Lisa Congdon creatively incorporated nature into her bedroom by arranging a tree stump & a large branch along with white bird figures. Her home decor is also very nice. I'm just an admirer of her work...

The Hibbard House

"Mid-century modern architecture is a true love of ours, and
we are very familiar with Ralph Haver, Al Beadle, and Allied homes. There are
many undiscovered mid-century modern neighborhoods, and we're always learning
something new about a neighborhood or architect"

GOOD NEWS...

(Today I'm posting mostly anthropologie inspiration!)

Can you imagine newspaper walls? My first thought "they belong in a cage" but of course Anthropologie had to prove me wrong although I wouldn't probably use them in my home! I think the furnishings also help pull it off editorially!

Anthropologie catalogs:
