I just wanted to let you know in case you haven't been introduced to Dottie Angel. Tif takes a vintage slip and makes it into the perfect party dress, she hand dyes them and finishes them with delicate items like ribbons, lace, buttons, hankies and dollies on etsy.com and at Frock Shop! If you love garments with pretty details like these but lack the the creativeness, or the time you will love her dresses, who she also names! The bad news: the shop is currently closed until August :(

There's a local boutique here in Seattle that carries similar items--mostly dyed, not so much embellished. It's really a great idea.
