I personally love children's drawing, they're something about them that is always innocent and fresh. Art that is spontaneous. My brother like many other kids likes to draw at least 10 pages a day. He drew this for me the other day, I'm looking into displaying it around the house in a non-refrigerator-kinda-way..

when i was in grad school for psychology i did an internship in a psych ward. i took the opportunity to spend some time studying kids drawings for psych developement purposes. some of it is tragic...but a lot of it was really amazing. especially the 7-10 year olds, with the skills to use thier imaginations. i have several drawings and paintings that i kept from those days. they're just a blip in those kids lives, but they are strong memories.
I just framed a couple of my kids' pieces in ornate gold Rococo-type frames. Because the frames look "fancy", people assume it's primitive or faux-naive art by an adult artist. Funny how the frames make the difference...
thats so awesome! i want to do that.
that's really cute, all that my little brothers do is play WoW .... not so cute ...
geee thank you ^_^
